Questions about the programme
The participating venues, performance times, and bands will be published on the website at www.jazzwe.de after the application and curation phase has been completed in spring 2026. Shortly before and during the Jazzweekend, the program can also be found in the program flyers, which will be available at the venues during the festival or can be picked up at the festival lounge at Kohlenmarkt.
The performance times vary depending on the venue. You can find the exact details in the programme flyer on display or on the website at www.jazzwe.de. Please note that changes at short notice due to illness or similar cannot be ruled out.
Yes, there may be changes to the programme at any time due to unforeseeable cancellations. These will be communicated at www.jazzwe.de and on our social media channels (@jazzwe.regensburg).
Questions about arrival and mobility
Using the promo code "JAZZR26" you can enjoy free rides on the climate-neutral Donau Donkeys (provided by Feine Räder Regensburg) during the Jazzweekend from July 2 to 5, 2026. The code entitles account holders to up to four free rides, each lasting 30 minutes. Standard rental rates apply once the initial 30 minutes have elapsed.
If you arrive by train, you can reach the stage at Haidplatz from the station in about 20 minutes on foot.
Parking is available at the Unterer Wöhrd car park (on the B15), the Dult car park, Protzenweiher (93059 Regensburg), and in the city center's underground garages. You can find an overview of the latter at
das-stadtwerk-regensburg.de.
An overview of parking options for people with disabilities can be found
here.
You can also take advantage of the RVV's Park & Ride services: From the Jahnstadion Regensburg P+R facility, bus lines 3, 5, 20, 21, and 38 run to the city center, with departures at least every 10 minutes during the day. The daily parking ticket serves as a bus ticket to the city center for all vehicle occupants. Further information is available
here.
Questions about accessibility
Due to the expected high number of visitors, it will not be possible to drive directly to the venues by car. Parking for people with disabilities is available in the underground car parks in the city centre. Further information can be found at www.regensburg.de/leben/verkehr-u-mobilitaet/parken.
Not all venues are barrier-free. The stages at the Bismarckplatz, Haidplatz, Thon-Dittmer-Palais, Gewerbepark and Marc-Aurel-Ufer venues are barrier-free. For all other venues, please enquire directly at the venues, on their websites or by telephone.
Accessible toilets are located at Schwanenplatz, Bismarckplatz and in the Thon-Dittmer-Palais (Haidplatz 8).
Most of the venues are equipped with chairs or benches. Depending on the number of visitors, seating may be limited.
The stages at the following venues feature wheelchair-accessible access: Bismarckplatz, Degginger, Gewerbepark, Haidplatz, Hansa Apart-Hotel Bar & Restaurant, Leerer Beutel Saal, Rehorik (subject to construction progress at Brixener Hof), Ruthof, St. Kassiansplatz, and Thon-Dittmer-Palais.
Access to Cosi involves a single step.
Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair-accessible entrance to the interior of Amore, Vino & Amici. However, the stage in the establishment's courtyard is accessible by wheelchair via the "Hinter der Grieb" alley.
Questions about the venues
In the programme flyer and on the website at www.jazzwe.de, a map provides an overview of all participating venues.
The operators of the venues adhere to the respective safety guidelines and can therefore refuse entry to additional people if the maximum number of authorised visitors is reached.
Dogs are generally allowed at the outdoor venues, however, due to the noise level and the expected high number of visitors, it is recommended that dogs are not exposed to stress. Indoors, the decision to allow dogs is the responsibility of the respective venue operator.
Questions about the weather
This varies from venue to venue. Many of the venues are covered or are enclosed spaces. When visiting the venues, it is advisable to wear appropriate clothing such as headgear, sun protection or a rain jacket. Make sure you are sufficiently hydrated in hot temperatures.
The covered venues in the pubs or bars are independent of the weather conditions. The concerts on the outdoor stages must react flexibly to the weather conditions. All current information and last-minute changes will be announced on the website www.jazzwe.de or on our social media channels (@jazzwe.regensburg).
Questions about the catering
Yes, individual vendors will be selling food and drinks at Bismarckplatz, Haidplatz, Thon-Dittmer-Palais and Marc-Aurel-Ufer. In addition, individual venues at the stages offer culinary catering.
Please enquire about allergens and ingredients at the respective stands.
