Where do I send my application?
The application can be submitted digitally on the Bavarian Jazzweekend website here
How long can I apply?
The application deadline is October 15, 2025.
Who decides on the program selection?
Our five person board of trustees decides on the program and selects the bands from the received applications. The program design and distribution to the venues is defined by the artistic direction in consultation with the organizer.
What fees are paid?
Performing bands receive a flat fee of €150 gross per musician and performance, as well as appropriate catering at the venue. Required hotel overnight stays and travel allowances are agreed individually upon signing the contract. Travel expenses are covered according to the following flat rates:

Regensburg city area: €0
50–79 km: €24 (RVV ticket)
80–299 km: €55
300–399 km: €85
from 400 km: €120.

International travel and travel for groups of 10 or more people are subject to individual negotiation.
By when will I be informed whether the board of trustees was able to consider my application?
The selection from the received applications will be completed until the middle of April 2026.
By when will I know my exact performance date and venue?
The final program will be completed until April 2026.
What technology is available at the venues?
On each stage, the backline is provided with basic equipment consisting of a bass amp, guitar amp, keyboard instrument and jazz drum kit.
